With summer approaching, we have outdoor dining on the mind. Match that with our fondness for Jasper Morrison, and it's no surprise we are into the new indoor-outdoor chair, Fionda. Set to launch this week in Milan, Fionda follows in Morrison's tradition of distilling normalcy to its essence, drawing on the form of the folding camp chair, based on a canvas sling suspended on a folding base. Fionda's design is meant to resolve the uncomfortable forward-facing "X" found in many traditional folding chair designs, all the while finding that elegance in simplicity that Morrison has become famous for.
